How a lean team delivers enterprise-grade work
Dedicated PMs, direct engineer communication, and processes that scale down without losing rigor.

Soft Techies
When we tell prospects that a team of five engineers with a PM can deliver what a 30-person consulting shop would pitch, the first question is always 'how.' The answer isn't that we're smarter or work longer hours. It's that we've systematically removed the layers that slow enterprise work down without removing the rigor that enterprise work requires.
One PM who actually responds
Every client gets a single dedicated PM — their point of contact, the person who knows their project inside out, and the person who picks up the phone in minutes, not days. No account managers passing messages between layers. No rotating triage. Someone who can actually make decisions and knows the status of every ticket.
Direct access to the engineers building it
Clients talk directly to the engineers working on their product. Not as a special favor. As the default. This eliminates the single biggest source of delay and misunderstanding in custom software: requirements being translated across people who don't have the full context. A 15-minute conversation between a product stakeholder and a backend engineer can save a week of misinterpreted tickets.
- Weekly demos are run by the engineers, not just the PM
- Shared Slack channels connect clients to the full team
- Architectural decisions are documented and shared openly — no 'black box' delivery
- Retrospectives include the client as a participant, not an audience
Processes that scale down without losing rigor
Enterprise work needs things like change logs, incident postmortems, security reviews, and structured stakeholder sign-off. What it doesn't need is a 400-page specification document that's wrong before it's signed. We keep the controls that matter and strip the ceremony that doesn't. The result is delivery that's fast enough for a startup and solid enough for a regulated industry.
The numbers speak for themselves: 80% of our clients stay with us for more than two years. That's not because we make perfect software the first time. It's because when things go wrong — and they will — there's a real team on the other end, taking ownership instead of assigning blame.
